QUADRANT HELPS LONDON WELSH LAUNCH BUSINESS CLUB ON ‘HOME SOIL’

Quadrant helped London Welsh RFC launch its official Business Club in Cardiff this month in a bid to raise the club’s profile amongst the Welsh community again.
Five of the seven London Welsh heroes selected for the 1971 British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand - a Lions record in amateur times, were present on the day; captain John Dawes (now London Welsh president), JPR Williams, Mervyn Davies, John Taylor (now managing director of London Welsh), and Geoff Evans. Former players, Tom Shanklin and Colin Charvis, were also in attendance. Representatives from the 10 founder members of the Business Club accompanied the former stars, including Quadrant Media & Communications, Acorn, Capital Law, Capital Networks, Cardiff & Co, Catalyst Design, COS Group, Thomas Carroll, Village Hotels and Vista Retail Support.
Former Wales and British and Irish Lions Flanker and London Welsh RFC Managing Director, John Taylor, believes the launch of the Business Club in Wales will bring the club closer to the Welsh community and fans once again. “I am thrilled that so many Welsh-based companies have bought into the London Welsh brand and see this as an opportunity to promote themselves, and Wales, in London. We look forward to welcoming them and their clients to Old Deer Park which they will all see is a very special place on match day,” he said.
