QUADRANT SCORES A PR AWARDS HAT-TRICK

The Quadrant team is celebrating after winning three Gold Awards at the prestigious 2008 Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Pride Awards.
The team won the ‘Best Event’ category for its event management of the 2007 National Tourism Awards and Showcase Wales Exhibition 2007 and ‘Best Publication’ for its copywriting and production skills for Warburton’s Picnic Passport. Senior account manager, Rachael Micallef also won ‘Outstanding Young Communicator’ with judges praising her as ‘an obvious rising star in Wales’
The CIPR Pride Awards are set up to recognise excellence and reward achievement in public relations and the communications industry. The Quadrant team is thrilled because it achieved 100 per cent success rate, winning Gold for all the awards it entered.
The judges of the event category commented that the National Tourism Awards and Showcase Wales event ‘was massive in size…and must have been very challenging logistically…Quality all round entry and a deserved winner of Gold.’ In the ‘Best Publication’ category, the judges praised Quadrant’s publication as ‘well targeted to a family audience’ and ‘was enjoyed by judges.’
