Infinergy Ltd is a subsidiary of a leading Dutch renewable energy business which plans to develop a four-turbine, 10MW wind farm on the north bank of the Milford Haven estuary, to be known as Wear Point Wind Farm. The company is a full subsidiary of KDE, a Dutch renewable energy business which develops, constructs and operates onshore wind projects across Europe, and which has several wind farm projects in Scotland and England. It is also already active in Pembrokeshire through its ownership of NIK Energy Ltd, which is developing a wind farm at Castle Pill. If the company’s planning application is successful, construction of the turbines would begin during 2010.
