Major Welsh PLC reaffirms its sponsorship at Christ College

Rugby teams at Christ College Brecon, Wales are set to continue to benefit from one of the most important sporting sponsorship deals in the schools history.

Welsh insurance broking-to-financial services company Thomas, Carroll Group PLC has reaffirmed its support to sponsor and part-fund the school's rugby activities.

Thomas, Carroll Group’s most prominent insurance broking executive Des Parry and Regional Director, Wales and British Lion rugby great, Robert Jones MBE recently visited the school to see how the support will help to develop rugby throughout Christ College.

During their visit, Rob and Des met members of the 1st XV squad and were able to see the design of the 2010/11 1st XV shirts. As well as funding kit, the sponsorship package also helps in the purchase of updated rugby equipment as required by the school.

They have been a tremendous support and we look forward to continuing to work with them over the coming years to ensure that all pupils who enjoy rugby at Christ College receive the benefit of their investment.”
