MARK HISLOP TO INCREASE MandA FOR BandA

Corporate banking and finance specialist Mark Hislop has joined professional advisors Broomfield & Alexander’s corporate finance team as the firm seeks to capitalise on a continuing buoyancy in the market.

Cardiff-born Mr Hislop, aged 42, spent almost 20 years in corporate banking and finance with RBS Group in London and the South East. He returned to South Wales in 2001 to work for a regional venture capitalist and last year, moved to the Cardiff office of accountants PKF, advising on management buy-outs and buy-ins.

At B&A, his role is to develop the company’s corporate finance offering, in particular focussing on mergers and acquisitions

Broomfield & Alexander director Seamus Gates said it remained an exciting time to be involved in M&As in South Wales.
