MARTELLO QUAYS APPLICATION SUCCESS

The client group behind this project – Milford Haven Port Authority, the Welsh Assembly Government, Pembrokeshire County Council, and the Crown Estate – is delighted that the application by the appointed developer Martello Quays Ltd has been unanimously approved by the Planning Committee of Pembrokeshire County Council. The next step is that this goes for ratification to a meeting of the full council on 21st February.

As a group, we have been working for some years now to bring this quality development to Pembrokeshire, so it’s very exciting news that we are now one step closer to building one of the most innovative marina supported housing and retail developments in the UK here in Milford Haven which will make a further contribution to putting the County on the map.

Once formally approved and implemented, the development will generate jobs and income into the community through its various elements, which will include 300 marina berths, 250 houses, 200 apartments, hotel, and a multiplex cinema.

This is a major project, though, and there is still some way to go. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Martello Quays Ltd, and remain committed to public consultation and to engaging with the community further as we progress this exciting development for West Wales.
